I haven't been updating this little space as I'm still NOT recovered after 1 week T^T but I couldn't stand to leave my butt on my bed for almost every second, and so...
I decided to make some Rilakkuma Pancake! :3
Things you will need :
measuring spoons
1 big bowl
2 small bowls
1 cookie tray(or any trays that you have)
1 pastry bag
1 pair of plastic glove(optional)
1 sifter
1 whisk
1 plate
1 fruit knife
The ingredients that you will need :
1.5 cups of flour
3.5 tsp of baking powder
1 tbs of regular sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 egg
1.25 cup of milk
2 tbs of butter
1 banana
chocolate chips
I started with melting 50 pieces of chocolate chips in a small bowl, in the microwave oven for about 2.5 minutes. When the chocolate is melted, used a spoon or a spatula(for baking) and place them into the pastry bag. Note, paste a scotch tape at the tip of the pastry bag so that the chocolate will not spill out :) set aside
*Sorry, I didn't take a picture of this xD
Place the sifter onto the big bowl and pour the 1.5 cups of flour in. You can choose to pour all at once or pour 0.5 cups at a time. I poured 0.5 cups each time because my sifter was bigger than my bowl and I don't wanna dirty my place xD
When done, pour 3.5 teaspoon of baking powder into the sifter and stir until all particles have sifted through. *Ignore my picture as I almost forgot to pour the baking powder into the sifter and had to take them out to re-do it :x
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar, then a teaspoon of salt. Take the whisk and whisk all the dry ingredients.
Note, make sure to stir them properly because I did not do it properly and a part of the pancake was super salty :x
Make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients, I used a plastic glove as I didn't wanna dirty my hands/nails xD
Take the other small bowl, take some or a small cube of butter(I am using unsalted butter) and heat it up in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Then add the egg, 1.25 cups of milk and 2 tablespoon of butter onto where the hole is. When done, use the same whisk to whisk the batter.
Take some butter again, and heat up your pan with small heat.
*Please ignore the burned area on the pan xD I think my aunt or my sister almost burnt the whole thing the other time. Lol!
I used my tablespoon for the bear's head and teaspoon for the bear's ear. But it turned out...

I then changed my spoons to, 1/4 cups for the bear's head and teaspoon for the bear's ear.
*I'm sorry but the bottom will be a little wordy as I was busy with the pancakes and forgot about taking photos ><
When your pancake is cooking, quickly get a plate and peel the banana and cut them into little banana slices. Don't forget to paste a little baking paper on your tray! ;)
When your pancake is done, place them on the tray and put one banana slice the the bottom of the pancake. Take another slice, cut them into half, and place the 1/2 banana slices on the ears of the bear!
Take 2 chocolate chips/buttons for the eyes and use the melted chocolate chips that were in the pastry bag(I'm using 01 for the tip for the pastry bag. Not sure what is it called ><) to create its nose and mouth. And then... You're done! :D
Tadahhhhhh... Your rilakkuma pancake should look like the above! xD
Ending my post with 2 pathetic rilakkuma, 2 mickey and 1 mickey with torn ear xD HAHAHA! With the amount of the batter, you can do about 2 times of what I did, but because I was having a slight headache again, I stopped doing everything and kept the leftovers in the fridge xD
Feed your bears with maple syrup and then feed yourself with them! It'll taste super yummy! Hehehe :3
Note : Please please please please please, stay by the fire when you're cooking your pancake else, you'll get burnt rilakkuma bears and burnt mickey mouse like mine. Flip it over once you see the bottom is in golden brown!
